The Avalon Sand Dunes is in need of restoration and want volunteers to come along on Sunday 1 March from 8:30am to 12pm to plant natives to assist in the stabilising of Dunes in this area.

This group use a method of dune fixation or wickerworks to help in the stabilisation of newly planted plants to get established.

Volunteers should wear long pants and sleeved shirt, enclosed shoes, gloves, sunscreen and water with electrolytes if hot.

Meeting point is at Avalon Beach Public Lookout.
