The next working day for Reefcare Volunteers is Saturday December 5th. We will meet at the top carpark past Long Reef Golf Club at 8:45, where we will allocate equipment, gloves, weed bags et, sign on and then walk down to site to start work at 9am.

December is a very dry and hot so we will not be planting any new tube stock as they are less likely to survive. We will be tackling lots of different weeds, including very large and asparagus ferns that have built up, as well as bitou, burr medic, turkey rhubarb and others we spot.
